2019 Tax year deadlines & important dates:

For individuals:

 

January 15th, 2020 - 2019 4th quarter estimated payments due

April 15th, 2020 - Tax filing deadline, 2020 1st quarter estimated payments due

June 17th, 2020 - 2020 2nd quarter estimated payments due

September 15th, 2020 - 2020 3rd quarter estimated payments due

October 15th, 2020 - Extended tax filing deadline

January 15th, 2021 - 2020 4th quarter estimated payments due

For payroll:

January 31st, 2020 - 2019 4th quarter payroll reports due

April 30th, 2020 - 2020 1st quarter payroll reports due

July 31st, 2020 - 2020 2nd quarter payroll reports due

October 31st, 2020 - 2020 3rd quarter payroll reports due

January 31st, 2021 - 2020 4th quarter and year-end payroll reports due

For business taxes (S-corp, partnership):

January 31st, 2020 - W-2 & 1099-MISC (#7) filing due

March 16th, 2020 - Tax filing deadline

March 31st, 2020 - 1099-MISC filing due

September 15th, 2020 - Extended tax filing deadline

Oregon Department of Revenue Online - Click on the "Where's my refund?" box on the lower left to check on the status of your tax refunds.

Tax Payments:

If you'd like to pay your tax balance online or set up a payment plan, here are some links for information and payments.

Electronic Federal Tax Payment System® - EFTPS allows you to pay any tax due to the Internal Revenue Service from a bank account withdrawal once you've signed up for an account.

IRS: Pay Your Taxes by Debit or Credit Card - This IRS page gives information on payments via debit/credit card and any fees associated with their payment processors.

IRS: Apply Online for a Payment Plan - If you need to pay off your federal tax balance over time, you can apply for a payment plan and get information on the IRS website here. 

Oregon Department of Revenue: Payment plans - If you need to pay off your Oregon tax balance over time, you can apply for a payment plan and get information on the ODR website here. 

Oregon Department of Revenue Online - Click on the "Make a payment" box on the lower right to make payments online via bank account, credit card, or debit card. 

City of Portland: Revenue Division - Find information here on paying for the Portland Arts Tax or City of Portland business taxes.
